Fourteen Viking cultural events have been made possible thanks to the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund through Awards for All.

In October 2003 the Magnus Vikings Association was awarded a grant totalling $4405. We have used this to purchase buoyancy aids and to facilitate re-enactment training. This equipment and training has enabled us to facilitate fourteen Viking events this year, with many more planed for the future.

The Magnus Vikings gratefully acknowledge the assistance of Awards For All in enabling them to meet their objective of promoting the Viking way of life.
